Current Issue September 2008 We Need You!!! - Call for Manuscripts Submitting to The Transescent Transescent Editor Kathy Gibson The Transescent welcomes manuscripts describing classroom activities, curriculum ideas, or current research on middle level education. The editors are particularly interested in publishing the work of Missouri middle level teachers. We also need quality photos of your students in action, pen and ink sketches by student artists, and examples of good creative writing by middle level students. Article length should be between 500-2,000 words (2-9 pages). Double space all copy with standard margins. Follow the APA Publications Manual for style. Quality action photographs and illustrations related to your manuscript are encouraged. Please identify all people in each photo from left to right, front to back. Submit three copies of manuscript and a cover page giving author(s), professional affiliation, a brief biographical sketch, address and phone number. If possible, include a copy of the manuscript on a 3.5 disk for Macintosh format. The Transescent can only consider original work which has not been previously published. NO DOUBLE SUBMISSIONS.
